Everyday moments of play are priceless. The LO loves to follow you around and be close. While I was pottering around the kitchen I gave him some stacked plastic cups. When he found them he sat and played for a long time. I love how they find so many different things to do. After a few clicks of the camera he was interested in the camera so I got no more shots.
Stacking is his favourite kitchen activity. He loved squeezing because cans and cups, his usual stacking fun, don’t squeeze so a real treat for him.
Thanks for stopping by.

What a discovery a nice stack of plastic cups would be. I love your reminders of how important everyday objects are to play.

All my boys gravitate towards everyday objects and always have. It does make playtime easier wherever we are as we can usually find something to play with. 🙂

I actually saw something recently about cup stacking and thought that it would be a fun way to play for my boys. It seems like something that would be enjoyed by a range of ages, with older children probably only needing more cups.

That is such a simple thing to play, and cheap! Will have to remember that one as my nephew gets a bit older (he’s currently 3 months, and I look after him regularly).
