The MO was interested in mobiles perhaps with all the wind around here. So we decided to make a mobile. Here’s a Mother’s day craft we made together that I get to keep.
Design and draw on your paper.
Use acetate or leading paper, cover the paper.
Outline the shape with leaded paint.
Finish and leave to dry.
Choose your colours and squeeze to fill up.
Allow to dry.
Cut out the shapes and letter with enough space for a punched hole. ( See above photo)
Encourage your preschooler to thread beads onto bead wire. This took team work.
Connect up the three pieces to hang as a mobile.
Inside, outside and windy…………..

I love this idea! The possibilities are endless, too! I’d especially love to see my kiddos create butterflies, birds or bugs! 🙂

We had a lot of fun together. Love the idea of different animals. I always buy way extra if I’m buying something so those ideas will come in handy another time. Cheers.
I’m imagining a flying butterfly floating in the wind already. 🙂
