We love our Advent Calendar activities and by now you are probably well into your activities too!
We like to get a Christmas book each year to add to our collection . As they get older the books change. The story is the same or is it? We all celebrate Christmas the same and differently. My children can’t imagine a Christmas when it’s not snow or cold.
Here are some books I would recommend to share with your family about Christmas traditions around the world.

I loaned a book from our local library two years ago about Christmas in a City, and all the relatives coming to stay in a town house. My kids loved it, but I can’t remember the title, and it isn’t showing on my library records (only go back a year) and it is driving me slowly mad. If you come across a book that fits this (vague) description, please let me know!

Not like you have lots of time, at this time of year, but have you tried a amazon search? Seeing the Jacket cover might jog your memory or searching with a few keywords?
Sounds really interesting.

We have the poinsettia book and it’s a definite favorite this year. It’s the only sort of ‘multi-cultural’ book we’ve gotten out so far, but I’m definitely inspired to do more. I’ve been hunting for some that focus on a good simple Christmas (not too many gifts, appreciate the spirit more than the chance to get-get-get!).
Thanks for the comment at Kiddio–It’s so nice to know that someone is reading!!
