{Raising Tots} Top Ten Tips for Painting with Your Toddler

Making mess with paint isn’t everyone’s idea of fun but I think #5  Lay out ground rules. Be prepared to repeat them frequently. It’s so exciting to be painting, getting carried away. I posted a facebook picture the other day of a mark making activity that continued onto our furniture. Repeating the ground rules often will help with our sanity and help guide them. Lovely set of guidelines to keep us all on track with painting so it’s not a headache for us and sadness for them.

 

Encouraging Sibling Kindness

With three boys there is a fair amount of sibling related situations in the house. I particularly liked this article as it gave some really simple ideas to encourage sibling kindness.
