Usually painting is an open ended art activity for the boys. It’s always interesting to see what they produce.
With the rotation of book boxes comes new activity books.
They both chose their page.

Both had reading help. They were both excited to try another paint activity. The Crayola washable paint did wash out.
Now we have to decide what to do with them.
Help us decide…
a) Shall we frame them for their room?
b) make them into place mats with clear plastic over them?
c) display on the art door for everyone to see?
d) take a picture and email to family as a photograph?
e) take a picture and make into a postcard/magnet etc
f) other ideas……..

Hi Melitsa!
Have you tried hand/finger painting with really young babies?
Some of them tend to curl their hands into a fist, or grab onto your hand/finger as you try and guide them. Any idea how to get around this?
Sorry, I’m new here. Who are the boys you mention in your post? ๐
Regards
Mark

Hi Mark. The fingerpainting we’ve done with babies ( my babies) were with things they could eat because that’s primarily what they want to do; touch, lick etc. I totally let them experiment and do what they wanted. I may have drawn circles or pushed at the ‘paint’ but they didn’t have to copy me. I blog about my boys. ๐ Thanks for stopping by and good luck in your studies.

I think the placemat idea is awesome! I think I will try that with my little boy. That’s what I would say to do with the pictures. Great job by the way boys!! ๐
